ISNA was started in November 2016 by a group of residents who wanted to become more involved in our wonderful, historic, independant neighborhood.

Some of our early goals were to participate in the City’s proposal to redesign the Inman Square intersection, build flower boxes on Cambridge Street, create new ways for neighbors to get to know each other, and support our local businesses.

Since then our group has grown and the range of topics we discuss at our monthly meetings have also expanded.

We invite all those who live in Inman Square to join in our conversations, be part of collective decision-making, and get to know your neighbors.

Anyone who resides within the neighborhood of Inman Square may become a member of ISNA by submitting their name, email address, and physical address to the organization.

Emails are sent two to three times a month and include information about ISNA monthly meetings and activities as well as neighborhood and city special events.
